Are your designs effective?
Yes, our ID cards are the most realistic and effective on the market. We use professional designers and industrial printing technology to produce novelty ID cards which are unrivalled. The quality easily matches that of official credit and Identity cards.

Do your cards have holograms?
Yes, we provide the option to order cards with a professionally hologram which is bonded to the face of the card - unlike inferior products which use holographic stickers which reduce the effectiveness of the card.

Are all your cards double sided?
Yes, all our cards are double sided professional designs.

Will you be able to copy any official ID cards?
Sorry, we are unable to copy any official ID cards.

Does the information I put on the card (e.g. Date of birth, Name etc) have to be real?
No, because the card is for novelty purposes only you use any details you wish.

What type of photo should I send you and will it be returned to me?
We recommend you send in a passport sized photo. We will return your photo with your novelty ID card.

What size should the photo be?
You may send us any size photo, although we suggest a passport sized photo. Your face should be clearly visible and front facing. You must use a plain white background for best results.

How can I get a good signature scan?
You will have best results if you use a thin black felt tip pen. This will give a much better result than a pencil or ballpoint pen.

Can you custom design cards?
We only sell the cards advertised on the site. However, in rare cases, we able to custom design cards if we think it would be a suitable addition to our range. However, we will not copy any official card as this would infringe copyright or be illegal.

Ordering

Do I have to send a stamped addressed envelope?
No, with Ape-Id delivery postage costs are included in the initial price.

Can I order my card by email or phone?
At present it is not possible to order cards by phone or email. Our current order method is by post.

I want to order multiple cards; do I send the forms in one envelope?
If you are ordering via post you may place multiple orders in one envelope.

I am unable to print the order form; can I write it out by hand?
If you are unable to print the form you can write out your details by hand. Please use block capital letters to ensure details are readable. Alternatively email us your details and we’ll send you an order form.

I forgot to send my photo and/or money for my id card, what can I do?
If you forgot to send your photo or money we will put your order on hold. Please post the missing items with your name and delivery address so we can finalize your order. We are able to provide but I forgot to send my photo and/or money for my id card, what can I do?

I want to order several cards; can I get a discount?
We are able to provide bulk order discounts. Please contact us using the contact form for more information.

When ordering by post should I use recorded delivery?
We recommend that you use recorded delivery when ordering via post – especially if sending cash. This is a more secure form of delivery and protects you against lost or stolen orders.

Payment

How should I pay for my card?
When ordering by post you can pay by Postal Order, Cheque, or cash. Postal orders and Cheques must be in UK Sterling. Cash is accepted in UK Sterling, Euros and AUS Dollars. For other currencies please contact us prior to making your order.

Where can I get a UK postal order?
Your can get a Postal order from any UK post office.

Who do I make my Postal Order/Cheque payable to?
Please make Cheques payable to K-Media Limited.

Is it safe to pay for my novelty ID card using cash?
Paying by cash is a popular method; however it does involve a certain level of risk. For this reason we advise you to put cash in a separate envelope within the main envelope you use to send your order form in. Using this method makes it highly unlikely your order will be lost or stolen. You may want to make the extra precaution of sticking down the envelope using tape. If you don’t wish to take such precautions, please make sure the cash is placed inside the folded order form printout. This makes it less likely money will be seen during transit.

We recommend that you use recorded delivery when ordering via post – especially if sending cash. This is a more secure form of delivery and protects you against lost or stolen orders.

Will you let me know that you have received my order?
If you ordered online please use the tracking number emailed to you. This will allow you to check the current status of your order. If you ordered via post, please e-mail us and we’ll email you a tracking number for your order.

What is the advantage of buying "online"?
By ordering online your order is processed much faster as payment and details are already on our system. You will therefore receive your card in less time.

How can I be sure you won’t just take my money and not send an ID card?
As you may already know, there are several Novelty Id card sites which deliver card late or not at all. Ape-id is owned by a registered UK company is governed by UK laws. We guarantee delivery on all our cards.

For peace of mind we recommend you order online or by Postal Order or Cheque as these are more secure methods of ordering than cash.

Please bear in mind that cheques take 5 working days to clear. Due to high levels of invalid cheques, we are unable to post your card until the cheque has cleared.

What is your returns/replacement policy?
Ape-id novelty id cards are the highest quality on the market. If in the rare circumstances that something is wrong with your card due to an error on our part, we’ll replace the card for free upon return. Also, if your card is lost in the post we’ll send you a second card by recorded delivery.

Delivery

How quickly will my novelty ID card arrive?
We dispatch all cards on the same day the order is received. Therefore your card should arrive within 3 working days of receipt of your order. Please note that if paying by cheque your order will be dispatched after the cheque clears. Your novelty ID card will be sent to you via First class mail using plain, discrete envelopes.

Can my order be sent to me discretely?
All Ape-id orders are sent using discrete packaging with no indication of the envelopes contents.

Does the delivery name and address have to match the details I want printed on my Novelty ID card?
No. As the card is for novelty purposes only, you may use any details you wish.

Do I have to pay for return postage?
No, return postage is included in the price.

Have I included all the details necessary?
If paying by post, please consult the checklist on the order form to ensure you have included all the details necessary.

What should I do if my card has not arrived?
Please contact us using the contact form and we will investigate your order. Please include your name address and card details.

International Delivery

I live abroad, can I order a fake id from this site?
Yes, you may order from countries outside the UK. Please make sure your details are complete, in particular your address. When ordering by post, you must also ensure your payment is in the correct currency (Cheques & Postal Orders - UK Sterling only, Cash - UK sterling, US dollars or Euros only).

I live abroad and wish to pay for my ID in my own currency, can I do this?
If you wish to order via post internationally and do not have access to US dollars, UK Sterling or Euros, please contact us for further information. Please do not send the order before contacting us as your order will be returned.

I live abroad and wish to send a cheque for my novelty card, can I do this?
Unfortunately we are unable to accept Cheques in currencies other than UK sterling. All international orders are to be paid for by an International money order obtained from a bank, or by cash (US dollars, UK sterling or Euros).

Do you ship to the USA?
No, we do not ship cards to the US mainland, its outlying islands, dependencies, colonies, or military stations. . If you send an order from these areas you will NOT receive any product. We also reserve the right to charge an administration charge of £5 and the full cost of return postage to the US.

I cant print the order form, what can I do?
If you are unable to print the form you may write out the order by hand, in block capitals. Alternatively please contact us using the contact form and we’ll send a form to you by post.

Can I send ID outside of the UK?
Yes, we ship internationally, excluding the US mainland, it’s outlying islands, dependencies, colonies, and military stations or Nigeria.

What are your overseas delivery times?
Our overseas delivery times are 2 working days for Europe, 4 working days for Australia and 7 working days for elsewhere.

Yes. Our novelty ID cards are for novelty use only. Before you place an order it is necessary for you to study the terms and conditions of your purchase and sign the form to indicate your acceptance of them.
